What to check. Inner door glass shattering is reported across multiple Altus oven models, both while running and with food inside. Even under warranty the owner reports difficulty getting a free fix, and out of warranty the service quoted about 1300 TL for the glass. Expect a costly replacement if the glass goes.
Altus ALA 137 oven inner door glass shattered spontaneously while cold and closed
Owner report from query 'Altus fırın cam patlaması şikayet'. The inner door glass of an Altus ALA 137 oven shattered into pieces while the oven was completely off, cold and closed, with no impact, drop or force applied; the glass was original from the factory and about 6 years old.
What to check. The inner door glass can shatter spontaneously without any impact, even when the oven is cold and off. If you own an Altus oven, treat the door glass as a shatter risk; the owner reports the manufacturer refused a free replacement once the warranty had lapsed, so finding out can mean paying for a new glass panel out of pocket.

After an Altus ALA 189 hob/oven set was serviced and the hob replaced, a reversed electrical connection caused the oven to suddenly catch fire on 16 June; the house reached burning point, the owner's mother was hospitalized for smoke inhalation, and firefighters intervened.
What to check. The documented Altus oven fire followed a service visit in which the electrical connection was reversed, not a spontaneous product fault. If you have an Altus oven serviced, verify the connection is correct before use; a mis-wired oven can ignite and escalate to a house fire quickly.
