4 sourced reports, with what to check before you buy. Each one links to the page it was reported on.

Costly or dangerous

CPSC June 2025 recall covers model A1263 only, not the A1247

The official CPSC notice names model A1263 as the only recalled PowerCore 10000. The subject of this research, the PowerCore III 10000 A1247, is a different model and is NOT part of this recall.

What to check. If you own an A1247, this recall does not apply to it. Do not assume the headline 'Anker PowerCore 10000 recall' covers your unit — check the model number printed on the bottom; only A1263 units with qualifying serial numbers are affected.

September 2025 global recall models exclude the A1247

The second, worldwide Anker recall (September 2025) covers models A1257, A1647, A1652, A1681, A1689. The A1247 is not on this list either.

What to check. The A1247 appears in neither the June 2025 A1263 recall nor the September 2025 global recall. No recall or documented fire/overheating event found in this run is tied specifically to the A1247 model.
