CPSC June 2025 recall covers PowerCore 10000 model A1263 only, not A1236
The official CPSC notice (Recall 25-338, June 12 2025, ~1,158,000 units) names the recalled model as A1263 only.
What to check. The A1236 (PowerCore 10000 PD+) is a different model and is not covered by this recall. A buyer checking whether their A1236 is affected can confirm the official recall is limited to A1263.
CPSC recall covers Anker PowerCore 10000 model A1263 only, not the A1236
The primary CPSC notice (Recall No. 25-338, June 12 2025) limits the recall to model A1263 only. The subject A1236 (PowerCore 10000 PD+) is a different model and is not covered by this recall.
What to check. Do not assume an A1236 unit is recalled because of the A1263 recall. Check the model number printed on the bottom of the unit; only A1263 units with qualifying serial numbers are affected.
This Spanish aggregator (citing Daily Mail) is the only source naming A1236 in a recall list, but it conflicts with the official CPSC and Anker notices which specify A1263 only.
What to check. Treat this as a likely model-number error in a secondary aggregator. Do not use it to conclude the A1236 is recalled; the official primary sources say A1263 only.
News report lists PowerCore 10000 A1236 among recalled Anker models, conflicting with CPSC
This secondary Spanish news article (aggregating Daily Mail) lists the A1236 among recalled Anker models. It conflicts with the primary CPSC notice, which states the recall covers model A1263 only, and the article's model list contains errors (e.g., A1642, not a recalled MagGo model). I could not open the page to verify it (fetch hit the tool budget), so this is reported as an unverified, conflicting claim.
What to check. Treat this as an unreliable secondary source. The authoritative CPSC notice does not include the A1236; verify any recall status against CPSC or Anker's official recall page before acting.
These reports come from the pages linked under each item: owner forums, repair guides and workshops. They are not a diagnosis of any one unit, and a careful check of the one you are buying still applies.
