Battery sudden drops to 0% in ~20 min, diagnosed as mainboard fault, returns after battery replacement
Owner review on mGSM.pl (Polish). Battery 'hiccups' cause battery to collapse from ~20% to 0% in ~20 minutes, and overnight from ~70% to a few percent even while powered off. Service diagnosed a mainboard fault and replaced it, then replaced the battery; the same failure returned after ~6 months. This is a recurring, warranty-involving failure.
What to check. Buyer should keep the phone under warranty and be prepared for repeated service visits; a sudden overnight drain to near-zero with the phone off is the signature symptom.
Random self-restarts / bootloop within first year, mainboard replaced but issue returned
Turkish complaint (Sikayetvar) on a POCO X6 Pro bought in Turkey: before its first year the phone repeatedly switched itself off and on and never reached the home screen; the mainboard was replaced but the same fault returned shortly after. A second related complaint reports the Poco logo staying on screen and the device not booting.
What to check. A Turkish buyer should keep the phone within warranty; this unit needed a mainboard replacement and the fault recurred, so a replacement/refund may be the only durable fix.
Screen shows red/green/blue thin lines and stops responding to touch
Brazilian complaint (Reclame Aqui): within under a year the screen showed many thin red/green/blue traces and stopped obeying touch until the screen was locked and unlocked; colour marks also appeared with the screen off. The owner also notes battery durability had dropped by 6 months.
What to check. Line artifacts plus dead touch point to a failing display panel; this is a warranty claim, and the owner reports the seller tried to limit warranty to 3 months, so check the local warranty terms.
Owner review (Google Shopping): the phone drains 2-3%/h while idle in the worst case and about 1%/h normally, and reaches ~41°C while charging even at room temperature. This corroborates the battery-drain and warmth complaints from other sources.
What to check. High idle drain means the phone may not last a full day on light use; a buyer should expect to manage background apps and charging heat.
Screen self-clicks and loses touch without physical damage
Same owner on mGSM.pl reports the display registers phantom taps in random places and intermittently loses touch input despite no physical damage. This matches a separate Xiaomi-confirmed ghost-touch issue on this model.
What to check. A display that mis-touches without damage is a defect, not user error; it can make the phone hard to use and may need a display replacement.
These reports come from the pages linked under each item: owner forums, repair guides and workshops. They are not a diagnosis of any one unit, and a careful check of the one you are buying still applies.
