Worth checking
Gimbal high-frequency vibration/shaking in footage, DJI suggests calibration and prop inspection
On the official DJI forum, a support reply attributes heatwave-like video distortion to high-frequency gimbal vibration, listing bent/damaged props, debris, and gimbal motor issues as causes, and recommends calibration and prop replacement.
What to check. If footage shows heatwave-like distortion, check props for damage and calibrate the gimbal before assuming a camera fault; the fix may be as cheap as new props.
Mini 3 Pro gimbal produces shuddering/stuttering video, fixed by DJI warranty swap
An owner on the DPReview forum reports the gimbal producing shuddering video on playback about half the time; cleaning the gimbal only partly helped, and DJI replaced the whole drone under warranty.
What to check. If video playback shudders, try cleaning and calibrating the gimbal first, but be prepared that this can require a warranty repair or replacement unit.
Firmware vulnerability lets an attacker exhaust storage and block firmware updates (CVE-2026-78251)
An official INCIBE-CERT early-warning notice lists the Mini 3 Pro (firmware up to 01.00.0900) among affected models for a hardcoded-credential FTP flaw that can exhaust storage and block firmware updates.
What to check. This requires an attacker with network/USB access, so practical impact for a typical owner is low, but keep firmware updated to the patched version.
These reports come from the pages linked under each item: owner forums, repair guides and workshops. They are not a diagnosis of any one unit, and a careful check of the one you are buying still applies.
