Costly or dangerous
Repeated charging failure, service cannot resolve it
An owner reports the A9 stops charging and was sent to authorized service 3–4 times, with the service returning it saying 'no problem' while the fault persists. A second complaint on the same site says the charging port was only blocked with dirt and cost 100 TL to fix, while an authorized service quoted ~5000 TL for a case swap.
What to check. Charging faults are common and service outcomes vary widely; before paying for a costly repair, have a second service check the port for debris. A tablet that repeatedly fails to charge is a real cost to discover.
Slow performance, lag and poor multitasking on the A range
Owners describe the A-range as slow and poor at multitasking, with battery draining quickly; Samsung's own reply acknowledges complaints about battery life and performance versus the S range. A Reddit owner thread on the A9 also calls the screen low-resolution and scrolling laggy.
What to check. For a budget tablet the A9 is slow under multitasking and its battery life is a common complaint; buy it only if light use is acceptable.
Wi-Fi dropouts: tablet disconnects and reconnects 10–20s later
A German owner reports the tablet briefly disconnects from any Wi-Fi network and reconnects 10–20 seconds later, annoying in games. Samsung's support reply suggests disabling 'Intelligent Wi-Fi' and resetting network settings, indicating a known software-side Wi-Fi complaint.
What to check. Expect possible Wi-Fi dropouts; a network-settings reset may help, but if it recurs it is a connectivity nuisance to live with.
An owner reports paint dots peeling, metal deformation at the volume area and flaking at the charging-port rear case despite careful use, calling it a chronic case problem. The authorized service quoted ~5000 TL for a case swap and warned the screen might break.
What to check. The A9's case finish can peel and deform; cosmetic, but a service may quote a costly case replacement, so get a second opinion.
These reports come from the pages linked under each item: owner forums, repair guides and workshops. They are not a diagnosis of any one unit, and a careful check of the one you are buying still applies.
